Red wattled Lapwing
I manage to capture this lovely bird this afternoon. when the sun nicely shone to this grammy award winner. Why grammy award winner? because they're one of the best acting skill in bird world. Lapwing nested on the ground, aka no nest. they just drop the egg on the ground and put some pebble to make it more camouflage. Every time their enemy approach eg. monitor lizard, snake even macaq monkey they either pretend they have broken leg or broken wing to ensure their enemy will try chasing them and divert the direction furthur from the nest to safety. this is what i call The grammy award winner in bird world.

Threadtail Damselflies

Protoneuridae is a family of slender, delicate damselflies, with narrow, clean wings. This family of damselfly is also commonly referred to as Threadtails or Threadtail Damselflies, as you can see why..."

Morning treat
i wake up early this morning tying to catch some good picture of insect. No luck. All the same insect. but i do got few interesting picture to share. the first one are water droplet that for me so refreshing. 2nd one are closeup of "mirmosa pudica" flower. some people called it "Shy Princess", some call it "touch me not". "Ojigisaw" are the Japanese name. The most interesting part are the leaves that is sensitive to touch. This behaviour make them superior weed. Whenever grasshopper land they shut, so no grasshopper problems. when butterflies try to land to lay eggs, Butterflies cannot sit comfortably, no eggs no future caterpillar. The spikes around the stems are to prevent grazing animals. This is ultimate self defend in nature world. Eventhough this plant origin from Central America but they're sucessfully thrive here in Southeast Asia Regions.
Cheers..
